To celebrate Women’s History Month, we partnered with Forza Meats, Inspiro Tequila, and Ouilette Spice Company for a night of great food, drinks, and conversation. Guests enjoyed Inspiro Tequila cocktails with a spicy twist from Ouilette’s signature sauce, along with delicious bites from Forza. The event highlighted women-owned businesses in the culinary space, bringing together a small but passionate group to share stories and flavors.

It was a chance to come together, share ideas, and get inspired for a year of hosting, gathering, and creating memorable moments with friends and family.

Babs had the exciting opportunity to showcase CharCrust on QVC, representing the brand to a national audience. During the live segment, Babs shared her passion for entertaining and demonstrated how CharCrust's signature dry rubs elevate any meal, especially for those looking to bring a gourmet touch to their gatherings. As a trusted ambassador for the brand, Babs highlighted CharCrust's versatile flavors and its ability to perfectly seal in the juices of meats, making them juicy and flavorful every time. The appearance marked a significant milestone in Babs journey, as she continues to expand her presence in the culinary and entertaining world. With this partnership, Babs is excited to bring CharCrust into even more homes and inspire others to host with ease and style.

Babs attended an exciting Wayfair Chicago event, where the highlight was meeting Brunch with Babs. The event featured an intimate Q&A session and a personal book signing, offering a behind-the-scenes look at Babs new cookbook, Every Day with Babs. Guests had the opportunity to hear more about the stories behind the book and the delicious, accessible recipes it features. The day highlighted the authenticity of Brunch with Babs and was a great opportunity to connect with the heart of her work. She is a true inspiration and it was so much fun to meet her in person!
On Trend for Summer Event
A fresh and inspiring evening celebrating the season’s best in entertaining, home styling, and fashion. This collaborative event featured a curated panel of local women-owned businesses—Peyton Merrill (Bunny & Babe Boutique), Katie Walther (Maze Home), Lori Arnold (A Curated Host), and Babs—who shared thoughtful insights and creative ideas for hosting with style and ease.
From nature-inspired tablescapes and bold pops of blue to effortless summer fashion and the return of rattan and citrus tones, the panel offered approachable, trend-forward inspiration. Guests enjoyed live music, cocktails, and a vibrant menu of grilled seasonal favorites—echoing the event’s themes of casual, confident entertaining and seizing the moment.
Babs brought her Girls Who Grill model of hands-on, approachable cooking to ABT Electronics in Glenview, partnering with Weber to showcase a range of their signature grills and tools. Throughout the day, she demonstrated the versatility of the Weber Genesis gas grill with the crafted grill basket insert, the Slate™ griddle, and the Searwood™ pellet grill—offering up delicious recipes and grilling techniques that anyone can try at home.
Attendees sampled silver dollar pancakes with bacon, chicken fried rice, smash burgers, pulled pork (smoked on the Searwood™), grilled asparagus, and fire-roasted tomatoes and peppers. The Slate™ griddle was a standout, drawing attention from home cooks and seasoned grillers alike.
